If you're afraid to get your black car polished because you don't want to get those obvious "buffer swirls" then I don't blame you... most detail shops (especially those at higher-end dealers) do not have the training or experience that our Detail Technicians have. Already this year we've accepted many "buffer-swirl correction" jobs just from dealers and detail shops who thought they knew how to polish black paint. Convertible Top Care
Once a year you should have us deep-clean and protect your cloth convertible top. The service is $100 and it's not only my recommendation, read your owner's manual and it'll say the same thing.

WE DO NOT WORK FOR DEALERS! Why does this matter to you? Because dealers demand low prices and fast work. How could I tell my workers to do a fast and cheap job on one car then do a thorough and complete job on your car? It’s impossible! Long ago I decided to work for customers who needed a service and were willing to pay a fair amount for it. Have you ever bought a car from a dealer and you had to hassle with them over the price? Imagine doing that on every single detail job! No thank you, there’s plenty of those type of detail shops out there to fight over the dealer’s business.
